Membership
Who can join Hadhiyans Alumni?
Any past student of Hadhiya Educational Institution. There is no batch or graduation-year restriction — alumnae from every cohort are welcome.
How do I register?
Open the Register page, fill in the form, and submit. An admin will review and approve your account, after which you can sign in, complete your profile, and access the directory.
Why is my account marked "pending approval"?
New accounts are reviewed by an admin before being added to the directory, so we can confirm you are an alumna. Approval is usually within a day or two — you'll get an email when it goes through.
How do I update my profile?
Sign in, open My Profile, and click Edit Profile. You can change your contact info, address (with district/province), occupation, batch, and bio. Picking a district auto-fills the province.
I forgot my password — how do I reset it?
On the login page, click Forgot password?. We\'ll email you a reset link valid for 30 minutes.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. From My Profile, scroll to the Danger zone at the bottom and follow the prompts. Your past donations are anonymised (the financial record stays, your name is removed); RSVPs and membership-fee records are removed.
Membership fees
How much is the annual membership fee?
The fee is set yearly by the association. Admins generate fee records for the year and members are notified. Open your profile to see any outstanding amount.
How do I pay?
Currently fees are settled offline (bank transfer / WhatsApp). Contact alumnihadhiya@gmail.com or +94 77 738 3044 with the year you\'re paying for. Once recorded, you\'ll get an automatic receipt by email.
What happens if I have overdue fees?
You'll see a notification banner on your profile. If a payment slips past the due date, a friendly reminder may be sent. Membership privileges (event RSVPs, ID card download) stay active.
Donations
What can I donate towards?
Scholarships, library books, building maintenance, zakat & sadaqah, sports, Iftar drives, and a general fund. You can pick a purpose during the donation flow.
How do I make a donation?
Open Donate, fill in the form, and follow the offline payment instructions. Once the admin confirms your payment, an official receipt is auto-emailed to you and you can also print it.
Can I donate anonymously?
Yes. Tick "Donate anonymously" on the form. Anonymous donations still appear in our books but your name is not shown publicly.
Events & ID cards
How do I RSVP to an event?
Sign in, open Events, click the event, and confirm. If a maximum-attendee cap is set, RSVPs are first-come, first-served. You\'ll receive a reminder email closer to the date.
What is the Digital ID card?
Each approved member has a printable membership card with your name, batch, member ID, and a unique QR code that links to your public directory profile. Open My Profile → Digital ID Card tab → Download.
